Work & Impact

Supply Chain Modernization

Re-architected legacy systems into event-driven platforms supporting high-throughput operations across hundreds of stores.

Active-Active Resilience Redesign

Redesigned critical systems for active-active deployment, improving availability from 95% to 99.95%.

AI Decision Platform Architecture

Designed LLM and retrieval-based systems to support operational decision-making in supply chain workflows.

How I Work

  • Start with operational constraints, not technology choices
  • Separate deterministic workflows from probabilistic reasoning
  • Design for observability, safety, and cost from the beginning
  • Prefer systems that can be governed—not just demoed

About

I am a Distinguished Engineer and Enterprise AI Architect with over two decades of experience designing, modernizing, and scaling large-scale distributed systems across complex enterprise environments.

My work has focused on transforming mission-critical platforms—from tightly coupled monoliths to resilient, cloud-native, event-driven systems operating across multi-datacenter and multi-cloud environments. I have led multi-million-dollar initiatives with measurable business impact, including large-scale supply chain transformations, high-availability system redesigns, and enterprise-wide architecture standardization.

Across roles at AWS, Macy’s Technology, GM, Verizon, and other organizations, I have built and guided platforms operating at significant scale—supporting millions of devices, hundreds of stores, and high-throughput operational systems. These experiences have shaped a systems-level perspective that allows me to abstract complex problems and apply proven architectural patterns across industries including retail, e-commerce, supply chain, telecommunications, and automotive.

My current focus is on agentic AI systems and applied enterprise intelligence—specifically how large language models, retrieval-augmented architectures, and decision-oriented workflows can augment or automate complex operational processes. I am particularly interested in the intersection of deterministic systems and probabilistic reasoning, and how this combination can be engineered into reliable, observable, and governable platforms.

I write, mentor, and build with a single objective: to turn emerging AI capabilities into production-grade systems that are scalable, trustworthy, and economically viable.

Expertise

  • Enterprise AI architecture: agentic systems, RAG pipelines, context engineering, and decision platforms
  • Global supply chain and retail systems (OMS, DOM, inventory, fulfillment, logistics)
  • Large-scale modernization: monolith → microservices → cloud-native, event-driven platforms
  • Distributed systems design: scalability, resilience, and high-availability (active-active architectures)
  • Cloud platforms and orchestration: GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, containerized workloads
  • Event-driven and asynchronous architectures (streaming, messaging, real-time systems)
  • AI/ML platforms: model pipelines, evaluation, governance, and productionization
  • Data and analytics architectures: batch, streaming, and predictive systems
  • Architecture governance, standards, and enterprise-wide technology strategy
  • Engineering leadership: mentoring, architecture communities, and organizational influence
